  • a linguistics study exploring how college students’ slang relates to sociability
  • an analysis of the philosophical implications of gift-giving in the Young Adult Divergent Series novels by Veronica Roth
  • a dual English/Communication Arts project examining the connections between systems of control present in the evangelical Christian fundamentalist ministry GirlDefined and the dystopian novel The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood
  • a joint English/Creative Writing project that uses a Marxist lens to deconstruct the corporate and historical mythologies of basketball, and then offers a basketball-themed novel-in-verse
  • a Christian, feminist reading of Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre, whichargues that the novel’s heroine is both independent-minded and sincere in her faith
