Here’s the plan:
First Year
- Work one-on-one with your Liberal Education Advisor (LEA), who will guide you as you explore your interests.
- Take First-Year Seminar with your LEA and prepare for success in your other college courses.
- Experience professors who are passionate about their subjects. Talk to them and find out about their interests and career paths.
- Live together with other freshmen in the residence hall, share your experiences, and discuss courses.
First and/or Second year
- Continue to work with your LEA until you decide about your major.
- Complete your lower-level general education courses that are required for graduation for all students, regardless of major.
- Take Vocation Seminar to explore your interests, goals, and possible career options.
- You’ll be prepared and ready to declare your major!
