Physics

Physics, Bethel College Kansas

The study of how the natural world works at its most fundamental level.

Physics is the scientific study of matter, energy, and the fundamental forces that govern the behavior of the universe. It seeks to understand the basic principles and laws that describe the nature of the physical world. Physicists explore a wide range of phenomena, from the behavior of subatomic particles to the large-scale structure of the cosmos.

Bethel is a great place if you want to pursue physics while receiving a well-rounded education.

Hands-on Learning

Our professors are dedicated to mentoring, inspiring, and challenging you at every stage of your academic journey, whether you’re embarking on introductory classes or honing your expertise in advanced specialty topics courses.

I was able to gain an appreciation for the complexities of scientific investigation and ultimately become a capable, well-rounded, socially conscious member of society.

Coursework

Bethel offers General Physics I and II and the foundational math and science preparation necessary if you wish to continue graduate or undergraduate engineering study at a school with an engineering program.

Also, with the guidance of one or more faculty members, you can supplement Bethel’s course offerings with individualized directed studies or internships.

If you are interested in attending graduate school in engineering, you may choose to complete our Pre-Engineering program along with a major in mathematics or a different science.
