
Liz Rempel, LSCSW, LCAC, graduated from Bethel College with her psychology degree, and from the University of Texas with a Masters of Science degree in Social Work.
Liz completed additional training to be an independently licensed mental health clinician and addiction counselor, and has extensive experience with mental health assessment, diagnosis, brief therapy, crisis intervention, and substance use disorder treatment. From past work experience, Liz understands the healthcare system, and how to link people with what they need.
Liz strives to make the Counseling Center a safe, comfortable, and welcoming space for everyone. She has worked with people from many backgrounds, cultures, languages, and socioeconomic situations to get the help they need, and cares deeply about continuing this work with Bethel students. No matter how big or small the problem, Liz wants to listen carefully and thoughtfully, and help you work through whatever is bothering you.
