On behalf of our faculty and staff, “Welcome to Bethel College!” We want to tell you that we are diligently planning for your arrival and are excited to welcome you to Bethel College this fall!
An exciting part of your Bethel College career is Thresher Days! This program is designed to prepare new Bethel College students to be successful members of our community. You will learn about various campus offices and services, interact with other new students, and get to know faculty and staff outside the typical office or classroom setting.
Please return to the Bethel College website for schedule updates throughout the summer. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call the Office of Student Life at (316) 284-5325.
We are excited you have chosen to be a Bethel College Thresher and are looking forward to a great year together!

Commuter Information
If you plan to commute to campus, we encourage you to become familiar with more than just your classrooms!
Krehbiel Auditorium in the Luyken Fine Arts Center; Schultz Student Center (home to the Thresher Shop, Mojo’s Coffee, and the Cafeteria); Mantz Library; and the Administration Building (home to Financial Aid, the Registrar’s Office, and Student Life) are all important for you to know.
We plan to have a commuting session with a student panel. We will review information for commuters and hear from current commuter students!
You are also welcome at events on campus throughout the year, including Welcome Week activities, events hosted by Student Activities Council (SAC), events hosted by Diversity Council, club activities, intramurals, campus ministries, and much more!
The computer labs and Wellness Center are open to you, and there are comfortable spaces in the Will Academic Center atrium where you can relax between classes. Your student ID allows you to attend most student activity events, athletic events, concerts, plays, and special lectures at no additional cost, so please take advantage of all the campus has to offer.
