Current Bethel students who have earned 24 credit hours are, by definition, alumni and eligible for nomination to the Student Alumni Association (SAA).
Each spring, faculty, staff and coaches nominate students who, in turn, are invited to join SAA the following school year. In addition, those interested can get a sign-up form from a member of the executive committee (see below).
SAA assists the Office of Alumni Relations and Alumni Association with various events that enhance relationships with alumni and friends of the college.

SAA events and projects
- Co-host the alumni booth at Taste of Newton (Thursday of Fall Festival).
- Help host alumni and other booths at Fall Festival.
- Support president’s office and advancement office events.
- Develop a new alumni-student mentor network.
- Enjoy the SAA Holiday Feast.
- Organize the MudSlam Volleyball Tournament (spring).
- Host the annual Graduate Gathering.
- Provide shuttle and hospitality services for home football games, commencement and other campus events.
- Manage concessions at home softball games.
