About Lucas:

Since 2014, Lucas Kramer has served as Chair of the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Bethel College, a primarily residential, liberal arts college with emphases in undergraduate research, hands-on and cross-cultural learning, and peace, justice and conflict studies. Lucas received his Ph.D. from Iowa State University and continues to pursue scholarly interests in Mathematics, specifically Combinatorics. Outside of scholarly pursuits, Lucas is a member of Project NeXT, a highly active Mathematics program dedicated to helping new professors transition out of graduate school and into a full time position with specific focus on improving teaching quality.
