Faculty to participate in national social justice symposium

Christine Crouse-Dick, Rachel Epp Buller and Sheryl Wilson will co-present a workshop Wednesday, March 1, as part of a national conference on promoting social justice in higher education.

The Center for Teaching, Learning and Innovation at Hudson County Community College (HCCC) in Jersey City, N.J., is sponsoring the Teaching and Learning Symposium on Social Justice in Higher Education, Feb. 27-March 3.

It is free to all participants and held mostly virtually.

Exhibit represents something new in hymnal publishing

Don't miss the last chance to see “Voices Together,” an exhibit of original artwork from the hymnal of the same title, in the Regier Gallery, closing this Friday.

The exhibit currently in the Regier Art Gallery in Luyken Fine Arts Center is something out of the ordinary in that it marks the first time a Mennonite hymnal has included visual art in its pages.

Professor receives Fulbright award

The U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board have awarded Rachel Epp Buller, Ph.D., professor of visual arts and design, a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award to Canada.

She will spend the spring 2022 semester at the University of Alberta as the Fulbright Canada Research Chair in Arts, Humanities and Culture, researching and collaborating with university faculty under the auspices of the Research-Creation and Social Justice CoLABoratory.
