Student Counseling Services
College is a stimulating and exciting place where you will grow, change and develop as a person.
Of course, that also means being a college student is stressful.
And that’s true whether you’re a first-time freshman or a senior, whether you’re the first person, or the fifth generation, in your family to go to college, whether you’re three miles or three states away from home.
Sometimes you need someone trained, objective and caring to just listen. Bethel’s counseling service for students is here to be that for you.
Are you having:
- roommate troubles
- relationship issues with a friend or significant other
- academic struggles
- identity questions
- family problems
Whatever the cause of stress in your life, the Student Counseling Office is a safe place to bring it for examination and help.
Counseling services at Bethel are free to all full-time students as part of the Office of Student Life.
Call or e-mail Joanna Bjerum, counselor, to set up a time to talk. She will work with you to meet your needs in terms of time and what might best address your own situation. All conversations will be kept strictly confidential.
