Independent Living Counselor

COF Training Services, a non-profit organization providing services and support for disabled individuals, is currently seeking an Independent Living Counselor to expand our South Central Kansas team to assist individuals with disabilities to help maintain their employment and independence.
Applicants should have a minimum of 6 months experience with a disability as recognized by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, or a minimum of 1 year professional experience providing direct services including case management (working directly with individuals with a variety of disabilities).
A bachelor’s degree from a four year college/university is preferred. A valid Kansas driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word software is also required. Must have Independent Living Counselor (ILC) certification or must have the ability to receive certification within 60 days of hiring. Knowledge of Working Healthy/WORK Program is helpful. Applicants must be able to work flexible schedules, and travel 25% of the time.
