NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – Bethel College is on spring break starting Saturday, March 18, through Sunday, March 26, with reduced hours for some entities.
Most campus buildings are open as usual from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. All administrative offices will observe regular business hours.
Thresher Shop in Schultz Student Center will be open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Friday, March 20-24. Regular hours resume Monday, March 27.
Mojo’s Coffee Bar in Schultz Student Center will be doing renovation of the counter area and will have greatly reduced hours.
Saturday, March 18, hours are 7 a.m.-11 a.m. with no lunch served. The shop is closed Monday-Wednesday, March 20-22.
Thursday and Friday, March 23-24, Mojo’s hours are 6:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and Saturday, March 25, 7 a.m.-11 a.m. Regular hours resume Monday, March 27.
The cafeteria in Schultz Student Center closes at 6 p.m. Friday, March 17, and reopens at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 26.
The Regier Art Gallery in Luyken Fine Arts Center will close at 5 p.m. Friday, March 17, and remain closed until Monday, March 27. The current exhibit, “Denise Renee: Mundane and Magic,” will stay up through Thursday, March 30, which is different than indicated on posters. Regular hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays, 2-4 p.m. Sundays.
The Bethel College library will close Friday, March 17, at 4 p.m. and will be closed Saturday and Sunday, March 18-19.
Monday-Friday, March 20-24, hours are 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. The library is closed Saturday, March 25, and reopens Sunday, March 26, 5:30 p.m.-midnight. Regular hours resume Monday, March 27.
The Mennonite Library and Archives will be closed Monday, March 20, and Thursday and Friday, March 23-24. It will be open Tuesday and Wednesday, March 21-22, 9:30 a.m.-noon and 1:30-4:30 p.m.
There is no Life Enrichment (held on Wednesdays) during spring break.
The first official campus event at the end of spring break is the Concert Choir Home Concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 26, in Memorial Hall.
