NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – Bethel College student Billie Selichnow, Wichita, will give her junior trombone recital Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. in the Administration Building chapel.
Selichnow is a student of Matt Blauer, Bethel instructor of trombone.
Her program will be Sonata for Trombone and Piano by Eric Ewazen; “Sonata” by Benedetto Marcello; “Romance” by Carl Maria von Weber; and “Fandango” by Joseph Turrin.
Karen Bauman Schlabaugh, Bethel professor of music, will accompany Selichnow on piano. Guest musician Evan Koch, a Bethel College graduate currently pursuing an education degree at Bethel, will join Selichnow on trumpet for the Turrin.
A reception follows the recital, and the public is invited.
