NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – Bethel College Vice President for Admissions Todd Moore has announced his resignation, effective April 25.

“It has been a pleasure to work for and with the people of Bethel College and it has been a privilege to serve the students of this institution,” Moore said.

“I would also like to express my deepest appreciation to the staff of the admissions office for their spirit, dedication and support.”

“Although it is early in the process, work has already begun to find a suitable successor,” said Bethel President Perry D. White. “Because of the vital importance of this position to the college, we will contract with EFL Associates, a national academic search firm out of Kansas City that specializes in personnel matters such as this.

“EFL will utilize their expansive database and – based on our needs, institutional distinctiveness and specific criteria – will help narrow the field of qualified applicants.”

White also said that “in the very near future,” he would be putting together a search committee to help fill this “extremely important position on the President’s Cabinet and as the recruitment leader for our campus.”

Bethel College is the only private, liberal arts college in Kansas listed in the 2013-14 analysis of top colleges and universities in the United States, and is the highest-ranked Kansas college in the Washington Monthly annual college guide for 2013-14. The four-year liberal arts college is affiliated with Mennonite Church USA. For more information, see
