Two golfers receive Academic All-America honors

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – Two golfers bring the total to 23 for Bethel College athletes named by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics as Daktronics All-America Scholar-Athletes for 2010-11.

Justin Regehr, a 2011 graduate from Halstead, and Cameron Voth, senior from Goessel, were on the list released by the NAIA earlier this week.

An earlier list included 21 Bethel scholar-athletes, in men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross-country, football, women’s soccer and volleyball.

To be considered for NAIA Daktronics All-America Scholar-Athlete honors, a student must be at least a junior, must have attended the institution a minimum of one full term, must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 and must be a member of his/her respective varsity program.

Regehr and Voth were among six golfers in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference named as 2010-11 All-America Scholar-Athletes. For a complete list, see
