Three singers to give joint recital

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – Bethel College students Julia Miller, Hesston, Renee Reimer, Sioux Falls, S.D., and Allison Yoder, Kalona, Iowa, will give a joint sophomore voice recital Wednesday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Administration Building chapel.

Miller and Reimer are majoring in music and education and Yoder in communication arts at Bethel. They are voice students of Soyoun Chun, assistant professor of music.

The program will include works by George Frideric Handel, Richard Strauss, Georges Bizet, Robert Schumann and Eric Whitacre, among others. There will be selections from Samson and Delilah, Carmen, The Light in the Piazza, Edges and The Last Five Years. Piano accompanist is Rich Toevs.

Miller is the daughter of Marcia and Steve Miller of rural Hesston. Reimer is the daughter of Rosie Epp and Ray Reimer of Sioux Falls. Yoder is the daughter of Atlee and Carolyn Yoder of Kalona.

The recital is free and open to the public.
