Bethel forensics finishes fall season at UN-Kearney

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – The Bethel College forensics squad participated in the University of Nebraska-Kearney “Outer Limits” Tournament Dec. 4.

Marike Stucky, freshman from Moundridge, was fifth in Dramatic Interpretation.

Bethel was one of 13 schools in the tournament, which rounds out the fall season for the Threshers.

Also competing were C.J. Fischer, freshman from Newton, Julia Huxman, junior from Wichita, Julia Miller, sophomore from Hesston, Chris Riesen, sophomore from Beatrice, Neb., and Aaron Rudeen, sophomore from Osage City.

Bethel College is the only private, liberal arts college in Kansas listed in the 2010-11 analysis of top colleges and universities in the United States and is in the first tier in its category in the U.S. News & World Report annual ranking of “America’s Top Colleges” for 2011.
