Kelsey Easterday to give senior voice recital

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – Bethel College student Kelsey Easterday, Manhattan, will give her senior voice recital Saturday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Administration Building chapel.

Easterday, a soprano, is a senior majoring in music education. She is a student of Soyoun Chun, Bethel College instructor of voice.

Easterday’s program will include “Non Lo Diro Col Labbro” and “Lascia Ch’io Pianga” by Handel; “Mein Schöner Stern,” “Die Lotosblume” and “Widmung” by Schumann; “Clair de Lune” and “Pierrot” by Debussy; “Six Elizabethan Songs” by Argento; and “O Luce di Quest Anima” by Donizetti. Her accompanist is Rich Toevs.

Easterday is the daughter of Steve and Teresa Easterday of Manhattan.

The recital is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in The Meeting Place, in the Ad Building basement.
