Music Week to feature an evening of jazz

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – In conjunction with the annual Music Week camp for high school students, Bethel College presents an evening of jazz with professional musicians.

Monday, June 14, at 7:30 p.m. in Krehbiel Auditorium of the Fine Arts Center, James Pisano, Bethel assistant professor of music, and Timothy Shade, Bethel instructor of instrumental music, will be playing saxophone and trombone, respectively, and hosting Bob McCurdy (adjunct instructor of trumpet) on trumpet, Jerry Hahn on guitar, Ben Markley on B-3 organ and Ed Breazeale on drums.

The group will play jazz standards and original compositions. The concert is free and the public is welcome.
