Jennifer Regier to give senior flute recital

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – Bethel College student Jennifer Regier, Elbing, will give her senior flute recital Thursday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Administration Building chapel on the Bethel campus.

Regier will graduate from Bethel College in May with a biology major and music minor. She is a student of Kristin Shaffer, Bethel College adjunct instructor of flute.

Regier’s program will include Fantaisie by Hüe, Partita in A minor by Bach, Duo for Flute and Piano by Copland and Roussel’s Trio Opus 40. Her accompanist will be Melody Bontrager. She will also be joined by guest musicians Paul Regier, senior from Newton, on viola, and Anna Cook, freshman from Lawrence, on cello.

Regier is the daughter of Daryl Regier and Annette Voth of Elbing.

The recital is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in The Meeting Place in the Ad Building basement.
