Daniel Graber to give senior voice recital

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – Bethel College student Daniel Graber, Marion, S.D., will give his senior voice recital Tuesday, May 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Administration Building chapel on the Bethel campus.

Graber will graduate from Bethel this spring with a vocal performance major with emphasis in piano performance. He is a student of Soyoun Lim Chun, Bethel College assistant professor of voice, and also studied voice with Kathryn Kasper, associate professor of music, now retired. He is a piano student of Karen Bauman Schlabaugh, professor of music.

Graber’s program will include works by Purcell, Faure, Brahms and Ives. His accompanist is Schlabaugh. Kelly Reed, sophomore from Edinburg, Texas, will be a guest vocalist.

Graber is the son of Linda and Steve Graber, Freeman, S.D.

The recital is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in the basement of the Ad Building.
