Parker Stanley to give senior cello recital

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – Bethel College student Parker Stanley, Liberty, Mo., will give his senior cello recital Sunday, Feb. 25, at 4 p.m. in the Administration Building chapel on the Bethel campus.

Stanley is a music education major. He will graduate from Bethel in May 2008 after completing his student teaching. He is a student of Susan Mayo, Bethel College instructor of cello.

For his recital, Stanley will play music by J.S. Bach, Claude Debussy, Anton Webern and Ludwig van Beethoven. His accompanist is Dr. James Knight, professor of piano at Friends University in Wichita. Other guest musicians are Mayo on cello and Paul Regier, Bethel College sophomore, on viola.

The recital is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
