Butcher to present senior psychology seminar

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. -- Bethel College student Montrell Lavon Butcher, Dallas, will present his senior seminar entitled "The Cognitive Effects of Diabetes" at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, in room 102 of Krehbiel Science Center on the North Newton campus. A reception will follow the presentation. The public is invited. Butcher, a senior psychology major, will discuss the cognitive effects of diabetes on the elderly. His seminar is based on a study of 23 Harvey County residents, conducted using the Cognitive Linguistic Quick Test assessment instrument. Paul T. Lewis, professor of psychology, served as his project advisor.

Butcher is the son of Henry and Annie Butcher of Dallas.
