NORTH NEWTON, KAN. -- Bethel College will dedicate a fountain given to the Goerz House landscaping project by the Bethel College Women’s Association at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 9, at Goerz House on the North Newton campus. "It was our way of contributing to the restoration project," said Carolyn Voran, president of the Bethel College Women’s Association.

The grounds of the college president’s home are being restored according to the original 1800s/early 1900s landscaping plans. The plans also include a new pergola donated by the family of Adam Theodore Mueller, class of 1932.

The public is invited to attend the dedication, which is part of Bethel’s 34th annual Fall Festival. Goerz House is located on College Ave. in North Newton, just south of Bethel College Mennonite Church.

Fall Festival takes place Oct. 7-10. Other weekend activities on campus include food and entertainment for all ages, arts and crafts, alumni gatherings and athletic events.
