NORTH NEWTON, KAN. -- Bethel College announces a new appointment to its admissions staff. Tana’ Rangel, Newton, began Sept. 22 as an admissions counselor. She has an Associate of Arts degree from Hesston College and a Bachelor of Science degree in liberal studies with an emphasis in business administration and psychology from Central Christian College in McPherson. She was most recently an admissions counselor and softball coach at Central Christian College.

In announcing Rangel’s appointment, Allan Bartel, Bethel director of admissions, noted that, as a lifelong Newton resident, "Tana’ has been an avid Bethel College football, volleyball and basketball fan for many years. In fact, her grandfather [Lupe Llamas] played football for Bethel in the ‘50s."
