Professor appointed associate conductor of Salina Symphony

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. -- Christopher Koch has been appointed associate conductor of the Salina Symphony Orchestra. Koch is assistant professor of music at Bethel College in North Newton. As associate conductor, Koch will conduct the Salina Symphony Orchestra’s February concert and co-conduct the season finale concert.

In addition to his responsibilities with the Salina orchestra, Koch directs the Bethel College Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra and Wind Ensemble and conducts the opera. He also serves as guest conductor for the Hutchinson Symphony, Newton Mid-Kansas Symphony and Timberline Symphony orchestras.
