NORTH NEWTON, KAN. -- Bethel College has received an $80,000 grant from the Sunderland Foundation of Overland Park, Kan., according to Bethel College President E. LaVerne Epp. The gift will help to fund Bethel’s new sports complex that is scheduled for groundbreaking in September. "With this gift, we at the Sunderland Foundation are pleased to be able to support this important project for Bethel College," says Sunderland President Kent W. Sunderland.

This gift towards Bethel’s sports complex campaign is a significant gift in helping Bethel reach the Mabee challenge grant that is due in July 2005.

"We are grateful to the Sunderland Foundation for their support of Bethel College," says Bethel College President E. LaVerne Epp. "We thank the Foundation for understanding the challenges and opportunities that shape the priorities of Bethel College as we focus on our students."
