Bethel College Alumni Association to host Lawrence golf tourney

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. -- The eighth annual Bethel College Spring Thresher Golf Classic will be held at Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence on Saturday, June 5. It is the first time that a Bethel College tournament has been held at that location. Cost for the 18-hole, four-person scramble for men and women is $70. The fee includes lunch, cart and greens fee. Registration is at 11 a.m. with lunch at 11:30 a.m. Tee times begin at 12:30 p.m.

The deadline to register is Wednesday, May 26. All golfers are welcome. For more information and a registration form, contact alumni@bethelks.edu.

The Alumni Association sponsors golf tournaments as fund-raisers for Bethel College. Two more are scheduled this year, at Henderson (Neb.) Municipal Golf Course on Aug. 14 and Hesston (Kan.) Municipal Golf Park on Sept. 18.
