Doerksen to present senior violin recital

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. -- Bethel College student Crystal (Stotts) Doerksen, McPherson, will present her senior violin recital at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, April 25 in the Administration Building Chapel on the North Newton campus. Admission is free and open to the public. Doerksen's recital will include works by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and Prokofiev. Nancy Johnson is Doerksen's instructor. Karen Schlabaugh, professor of music, and Laura Kautz, senior from Leola, Pa., will accompany her on piano. A reception will follow the performance.

Doerksen is a senior music major with teacher certification. She is the daughter of Ken and Anne Stotts of Longmont, Colo.
