NORTH NEWTON, KAN. -- The public is invited to hear Paramahamsa Prajnanananda, Hindu scholar and holy man from Pattamundai, Orissa, India, speak at 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 31 in the Administration Building Chapel on the Bethel College campus in North Newton. His address is entitled "The Hindu way of life." The speech will include the commonalities and differences between Hinduism and Christianity. Prajnanananda is an advanced yogi and teacher of Kriya yoga. He was a featured speaker at the recent meetings of the World Parliament of Religions. He has also written several books, including "Lahiri Mahasaya: Fountainhead of Kriya Yoga," "The Torah, The Bible and Kriya Yoga," "The Universe Within," "Yoga: Pathway to the Divine," "The Path of Love," "Life and Values," and "Discourses on the Bhagavad Gita, Vol. I and II."
The presentation is free and open to the public.
