Self ceramics on display at Bethel College

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – Bethel College is currently hosting an art exhibition by potter David Self. The exhibition will run through Friday, Feb. 27 in the Fine Arts Center gallery on the North Newton campus. Self, born in southeast Oklahoma, draws inspiration for his work from the outdoors. With a master of fine arts in ceramics from Wichita State University, Self describes his pieces as "mostly decorative but in a functional form."

Gallery hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
