Bethel College forensics squad places at tournament

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – The Bethel College forensics squad took fifth place in school sweepstakes at the Midland Peacemaker Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Neb. Finishing as the top Kansas college, Bethel’s team had three members who placed individually. Freshman Justin Shook, Lyons, placed second in After Dinner Speaking. Eric Stucky, junior from Moundridge, placed fourth in Poetry. Robert Weaver, freshman from Wichita, earned fifth place in Extemporaneous Speaking.
