I love the community here at Bethel. I knew I’d have great classes, but I never thought I would stumble upon a whole new family when I came to college. You can count on everyone to lend a helping hand.

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – A ceremonial dance club, stolen from Kauffman Museum at Bethel College in North Newton, has been recovered, thanks to a local collector of American Indian artifacts. Keven Hiebert, rural Newton, found the artifact for sale on eBay and notified authorities. Hiebert, who had been invited by staff to present a program at the museum, had taken photographs of the item before the item was discovered missing in April 1994. The artifact is now in the hands of the New York Police Department, and the investigation is ongoing.
