Bethel College art gallery to show Boyd works

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. - Monotypes and etchings by John Boyd are on exhibit Sept. 1 to 26 in the Fine Arts Center Gallery at Bethel College in North Newton. Boyd graduated from California State University with a bachelor’s degree in painting and drawing and earned his master of fine arts degree in printmaking at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. Boyd has been a professor of printmaking at Wichita State University for more than 30 years.

Boyd’s works have been exhibited in local, state, regional and invitational print shows and are on display in approximately 40 institutions across the country.

The Fine Arts Center Gallery is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 2 to 4 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free and open to the public.
