Bethel College student to present senior trumpet recital

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. - Benjamin Lichti, a Bethel College student from Newton, will present his senior trumpet recital at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 22 in the Administration Building Chapel at Bethel College, North Newton. Admission is free and open to the public. He will perform Johann Hummel’s "Trumpet Concerto," Alexander Arutiunian’s "Concerto" and an original number, "Piece for Trumpet and Piano." Accompanist is Chris Shaw on piano.

A 1999 graduate of Newton High School, Lichti is a music major at Bethel College where he is a student of Henry Elder.

Lichti is the son of Marlin and Monica Lichti of Newton.
