Bethel College student to present senior voice recital

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. - Soprano Kate Mueller, a Bethel College student from Appleton, Wis., will present her senior voice recital at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 24 in the Administration Building Chapel at Bethel College, North Newton. Admission is free and open to the public. She will perform works by Buxtehude, deFalla, Puccini, Britten and others.

Accompanist is Chris Shaw on piano. Others performing with Mueller will be Jon Wiebe on cello and Jen Wiebe on violin.

A 1997 graduate of Appleton (Wis.) North High School, Mueller is a music major at Bethel College where she is a student of Kathryn Kasper, associate professor of music.

Mueller is the daughter of William and Barbara Mueller.
