Bethel College cellist to present senior recital

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. - Bethel College student Jonathan Wiebe will present his senior cello recital at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22 in the Administration Building Chapel at Bethel College, North Newton. Admission is free and open to the public. Selections on the program include "Serenade" by Hans Henze, "Concerto in C" by Joseph Haydn and "Sonata in g minor" by Ludwig van Beethoven.

Pianist Albena Arnaudova, a Bethel College senior from Bourgas, Bulgaria, will accompany Wiebe.

A music education major, he is a student of Andrew Kolb of Wichita State University. Wiebe is the son of Harold and Naomi Wiebe, Newton, and a 1999 Newton High School graduate.
