NORTH NEWTON, KAN- Bethel College Fine Arts Center Gallery will display the works of artist Sarah Whorf from Feb. 2 through 28. Her show "Recent Work" contains prints and collages. "Printmaking is collage without glue. My abstract prints have colorful layers of symbols and imagery. The layering possible in printmaking allows all levels of image to speak at once," Whorf says.

Whorf earned her bachelor of arts degree in art history from the University of Southern California at Santa Barbara, her master of arts in printmaking from California State University in Northridge, and her master of fine arts in printmaking from California State University in Long Beach.

Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
