Kauffman Museum announces holiday hours

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. - Kauffman Museum at Bethel College in North Newton announces a change in its hours during the December holiday season. Usually closed on Mondays, the museum will be open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 23 and 30. It will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. During the rest of the holiday season, the museum will be open during regular hours - 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Museum admission is $3 for adults, $1.50 for children (ages six to 16).

The Museum Store welcomes shoppers without admission fees.

The current special exhibition, "Scenes of Christmas: Victorian Newspaper Illustrations, 1857-1902," features the Dale and Rosie Horst collection of American newspaper illustrations and Victorian-era artifacts from the Kauffman Museum collection.
