Connect To Purpose

Kindermusik is a music and movement program for children ages birth through seven years old. Our program is based on research demonstrating the benefits of music at each stage of a child’s development. We start from where your child is, regardless of his age, and provide activities that stimulate his mind, body, and sense of play. By moving and dancing to music and playing simple instruments, children improve their gross and fine motor skills. Activities that encourage freedom within a fun and friendly structure spark their creativity. And most importantly, they develop a lifelong love of music!

Multi-level activities encourage you to make creative choices as baby grows from a lap baby to a crawler to a walker! Village opens new windows to show your baby more about the world and to show you more about your baby. *parent/caregiver invited to return for the last 15 minutes of Family Time

Kindermusik for the Young Child provides a pressure-free class where your child can develop a strong musical foundation by learning music theory, music composition and reading music. The program is designed to prepare the young child who is eager for instrument discovery but is not yet ready for private lessons.  This is the beginning of a two year, four semester journey of musical learning! We begin with learning and playing the glockenspiel, then the 2 stringed dulcimer and finally the recorder. If you plan on having your child study an instrument and your child is aged 5 or 6 years old (Kindergarten, First Grade), this is for you! Parents may drop off your child at class and re-join us for the last 15 minutes of Family Time. Curriculum includes a CD, a family songbook, activities folder, game bag and musical instrument.
