NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – Bethel’s Brian Krehbiel continues to rack up the academic honors connected to his sport.
Krehbiel, of Donnellson, Iowa, who graduated in May, became the first Bethel golfer to be named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar.
Presented by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), the award was given to 260 individuals from the 2016'17 season, spanning the NCAA D1, D2 and D3, and the NAIA.
Krehbiel was one of only 20 golfers from the NAIA who earned this title, and was joined by Landon Fox and Brian Peck of Southwestern College in Winfield as the only three from the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
