Kauffman Museum, First Bank kick off bus trips

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. - The first bus tour in the year-long series of trips offered by Kauffman Museum and First Bank of Newton is scheduled for Aug. 9. "Cabins, Calico and a Big Brute!" is a family-oriented trip for age six through adult to southeast Kansas. The one-day tour includes three kid-friendly meals, travel on a motor coach with restroom facilities, all taxes, all gratuities and entrance to three attractions - Little House on the Prairie, Big Brutus and the Martin and Osa Johnson Safari Museum in Chanute.
