Bethel College students to study in Chicago

NORTH NEWTON, KAN- Four Bethel College students will spend the month of January studying at Chicago's Urban Life Center. With this program, students will learn about the city by studying, working and living in Chicago. Through the Urban Life Center, students are placed in jobs complementary to most major areas of study. Students participating in this program are Emily Claassen, junior from Beatrice, Neb.; Stephanie Nance, junior from Dallas, Texas; Jarod Waltner, junior from Freeman, S.D.; and Elizabeth Zerger, sophomore from McPherson.

This experience is a part of the college's January interterm, in which students study one subject for a month. This year other students will travel also to Colorado, New York City, Jerusalem and Guatemala. Many students also study on campus.
