Bethel College Concert Choir to present holiday concert with Wichita Symphony

NORTH NEWTON, KAN. – Bethel College Concert Choir will present A Musical Holiday with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 9 in Century II Convention Hall. The free family holiday concert is sponsored by The Wichita Eagle. Guest conductor Jay Deckert will lead the orchestra in a performance of seasonal favorites. Bethel College Concert Choir, the only choir on the program, will sing Christmas classics and lead a sing-along with the orchestra. William Eash, professor of music, directs the choir.

All tickets are free and provided on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no reserved seats. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Order forms will be available in The Wichita Eagle, beginning Nov. 11. For information, contact Chonci Lekawa at The Wichita Eagle, (316) 268-6244.

Prior to this holiday concert, volunteers from the Kansas FoodBank Warehouse will collect non-perishable food items for those in need.
