Coursework for Graphic Design

The foundation courses of the Graphic Design program teach art and design principles through hands-on studio experience and encourage critical thinking about the role of design in society. Graphic Design courses will address typography, layout, design for print publications and websites, the history of art and design, and the role of social media. In addition to the major, students may explore a complementary concentration in business administration, marketing, or multimedia design.

Major requirements:
44 hours, including a 3-credit hour internship
Minor requirements:
23 hours
