Bethel College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, 230 S. LaSalle Street, Suite 7-500, Chicago, IL 60604.
In recent action, Bethel College has been assigned a designation of Accredited - On Notice. The college remains accredited, and has the opportunity to remedy the issues that led to the sanction. You may follow the link for the public disclosure at “Accredited - On Notice.” The finding means the institution complies with the Criteria for Accreditation, but is at risk of being out of compliance on certain core components of Criteria 4 and 5. The period of Notice is not more than two years in length. While on Notice, the college has plans in place to address the concerns of the Higher Learning Commission.
During the two year period, the college accreditation is in good standing with the Higher Learning Commission; college credits transfer; financial aid will be dispersed; and the high quality of academic programs remains. More information about accreditation standards can be found at Criteria for Accreditation. If you have questions, you may contact the HLC at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 800-621-7440 or 312-263-0456.
