Wellness Center

Bethel has a fully equipped exercise center, designed to help students, faculty and staff promote their personal health. The center, located in the basement of Memorial Hall has:

  • an aerobics room
  • an exercise room with:
    • Airdyne cycles
    • Concept H rowing machines
    • StairMaster stair steppers
    • treadmills
    • EFX machines
  • and a weight room

Sand Creek Trail on the southeast side of campus is a popular walking/jogging/running trail. The two Bethel gyms can be used for walking or jogging in bad weather. The Sand Creek biking/walking trail is a paved trail several miles long that goes all the way to First Street in Newton.

Bethel also offers a wide range of recreational intramural sports if you enjoy more competitive exercise.
