Arthur W. Marks

Arthur W. Marks made his professional debut in 1992 with the Kansas City Symphony performing Tenor solo in Schubert’s Mass in G. Marks has performed solo with the Baltimore Symphony, Des Moines Symphony, Wichita Symphony, Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, and Vivaldi Traveling Virtuoso (NYC). Marks has been the featured soloist for two World Premiere pieces composed by the prolific gospel and spiritual composer M. Roger Holland II at several landmark venues in New York City, NY including St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Marks recently recording two for GIA Publications, INC. featuring Lectionary Psalms (The Revised Grail Psalms).

Marks has performed in classical venues in Rome, London, Berlin, Paris, and Vienna. NYC credits/ National Tours: SIDD, The Screams of Kitty Genovese, Civil War Voices, World Premiere musical The Last Word, 30th Anniversary Tour of Ain’t Misbehavin and Chicago Tour. Regional favorites: Songs for A New World, A Chorus Line, and CATS. Marks is the voice of "Ugly Duckling" in HONK!, which is preserved on the First American Cast recording. Marks had the pleasure of being the opening act for the late, great Ray Charles. Marks has performed along side actress Ellen Page, Daytime Talk Show Host Wendy Williams, and Law and Order SVU actress Tamara Tunie for the Hoboken Homeless Shelter. Marks is also a proud member of Actors Equity Association.
