Andrew Miller to give senior voice recital

NORTH NEWTON, KAN.– Bethel College student Andrew Miller, Marion, S.D., will give his senior voice recital Saturday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Administration Building chapel.

Miller will graduate from Bethel in December 2013 with a degree in music and a minor in Bible and religion. A tenor vocalist, he is a student of Soyoun Chun, Bethel College instructor of voice.

Miller’s program will include pieces by Vincenzo Bellini, Gabriel Fauré, Henry Purcell, Franz Schubert, Felix Mendelssohn and Fernando Obradors, along with “The Prayer” by Carole Bayer Sager and David Foster.

Miller’s accompanist is Rich Toevs, Newton. He will also be joined by guest musician Allison Yoder, soprano, senior from Kalona, Iowa.

At Bethel, Miller is a member of the Concert Choir and of the men's a cappella group Open Road.

Miller is a 2009 graduate of Freeman (S.D.) Academy. He is the son of Craig and Jenelle Miller of Marion, S.D.

The recital is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in The Meeting Place, on the first floor of the Ad Building.
