4-year Graduation Guarantee

Concerned about college costs?

• Enroll as a Bethel College freshman.
• Stick to one major.
• Take full-time loads.
• Make reasonable academic progress.

If you fulfill the above criteria, you will graduate in four years.* If you do not, the Bethel College courses you need to graduate are yours, tuition free.

With its 4-Year Graduation Guarantee, Bethel College offers serious, goal-oriented incoming freshmen guaranteed savings in time and money as they work toward the completion of their baccalaureate degree programs. In fact during the past 10 years, 78 percent of Bethel graduates completed their degrees in four years, well above the 49 percent national average for public colleges.

However, Bethel also provides you the space necessary to explore and discover your educational aspirations. So you may elect to extend your studies beyond eight semesters to take advantage of research and employment opportunities or certificate and/or minor programs, or to pursue specialized plans of study tailored to unique career goals.

Whether you are ready to map out a single route or want the flexibility of varied paths toward your educational goals, Bethel’s combination of advising, course scheduling and individual attention ensures efficient and steady progress toward graduation. You will also find financial support to make your choices possible. During the past 10 years, 98 precent of Bethel students received financial aid.

*Programs that require coursework beyond the major to fulfill teacher licensure requirements are excluded from the 4-Year Graduation Guarantee.
