Transfer student timeline
Keep track of the following times to remind you of which steps to take next.
September/October/November
- Call us toll free at (800) 522-1887, ext. 230, register online or e-mail us at campusvisit@bethelks.edu to set up a visit.
- You can apply online or download and print the application to be mailed in (requires Adobe reader, available for free download from the Adobe Web site).
December/January/February
- Make sure to have your transfer recommendation form submitted by your current or most recent Dean of Students.
- Complete your income tax forms in preparation for filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- If you haven’t completed a campus visit, schedule one now.
- Consider auditioning and/or interviewing for performance scholarships.
March/April/May
- Submit your FAFSA online at www. fafsa.edu.gov. Bethel College’s Federal School Code is 001905.
- Complete early enrollment. If you haven’t completed a campus visit, schedule one now.
- Return your deposit and completed Student Life Contract for best opportunity for housing of choice.
- Consider auditioning and/or interviewing for performance scholarships.
June/July/August
- If you haven’t completed a campus visit, schedule one now.
- Consider auditioning and/or interviewing for performance scholarships.
- Make sure your final transcript is submitted.
- Participate in new student orientation.
- During your first week of classes, apply for an on-campus job.
